Jenn and Josh first met in high school band. He played the bass. She played the cello. The decade to follow would build an enormous excitement to marry each other, which made for a touching, fun and bright experience to document! We have been so fortunate to pal around with these two over the past ten years, sharing a love for good music, good food, and good times. And we were genuinely humbled when they asked us to photograph the significance of this day.
Jenn’s best friends took great care in unwrapping her incredible dress.
Josh’s endearing gift to his lady was a beautiful new cello, and it completely took her by surprise.
She could barely contain her excitement… it was such a loving energy.
They saw each other for the first time on their wedding day in Senquentennial Park surrounded by the green of trees (Josh, trees, and Houston are three of Jenn’s favorite things).
In the following six images, you can get an insightful glimpse into the depth of an adoring best-friendship.
Back at the Alden Josh’s groomsmen give one final toast before the ceremony, while Jenn puts the final touches on her lips.
They both sang joyously throughout their first dance, and most everyone wanted a picture of the experience.
