We took a road trip this past weekend out to Hico TX, to visit the tiny town where Dena and Clayton fell in love. After exploring the unique little downtown area, we ventured around Dena’s family ranch. Some of the must-see attractions were the “stay out no pecan picking” sign that Dena has always adored, a broken down tractor still in its resting place, and our favorite, cows.
These two are crazy about each other, and we had an amazing time exploring the openness and beautiful simplicity of Hico with them. We also captured some images with Dena’s dad, as he was trucking around checking in on us around the property. After viewing their full gallery from this session, Dena sent us a message about how it was “really important to have a reminder to slow down when things get so hectic and we forget to appreciate the ones we love so dearly.” We couldn’t agree more! And then, authentically Dena, she added, “the pics are effing awesome!” We are really looking forward to documenting all their loved ones at their wedding in just 10 days.

Loving the new site guys :)
